Soflex® BT24452 is a flexible composite made of a polyester film polyester fiber nonwoven soft composite impregnated with an F-grade epoxy resin and semi-cured.


      Basic characteristics

      • Good heat resistance and good dielectric and mechanical properties

      • No low molecular weight volatiles are produced during the baking process

      • Can be cured at medium temperatures to form a stable insulation structure that shrinks and can firmly adhere to metal surfaces

      • Compatible with most adhesives, resins, and paints

    Soflex® BT24452 is a flexible composite material made of polyester film polyester fiber nonwoven soft composite material impregnated with class F epoxy resin after semi-curing. It is suitable for low voltage interlayer insulation of cast-in epoxy transformers, as well as inter-slot insulation and turn-to-turn insulation of F-grade motors and electrical appliances.

    Soflex® BT24452 tubing cores with a 3-inch inside diameter can be supplied in full rolls or cut into strip trays or sheets in lengths to suit the customer's requirements.

    Storage suggestions

    1. Store in a dry and clean room at room temperature.

    2. Do not approach sources of fire, heating, or direct sunlight.

    3. The storage period is generally 3-6 months. If it exceeds the storage period and passes the technical standard inspection, it can still be used.
